My Journey
Laura is the heart and soul behind the retreat for SON BLAS HAVEN. Her journey began with a personal tragedy involving the loss of her son, Blas. This led her to a path of self-discovery. She attempted healing from her grief through traditional western medicine, but it was through her spiritual journey where she found comfort.
My Background
Laura has been a nurse practitioner for over 15 years. Laura has a master’s degree in Nursing. She earned her degree through California State University, Bakersfield. Laura had a spiritual awakening when she noticed synchronicities with angel numbers, noticing hummingbirds chirping and crows cawing to get her attention, seeing white feathers, butterflies, dragonflies in odd places. When she realized that these were signs from above, she began reading several books and taking courses to comprehend what was happening to her. Laura completed courses and was certified in Chakras, Crystals, Color Therapy, Somatic Healing, and Death Doula.

My Son Blas
Blas passed away at the age of 27 from a motor vehicle accident. Blas Jr. was a vibrant individual, emanating a contagious warmth with his beaming smile and infectious laughter. Renowned for his infectious energy at family gatherings, he possessed a charismatic charm that defied his youth, revealing a wisdom well beyond his years. His profound insight encouraged his mother to seek true happiness and embrace the transformative power of breathwork. Before his untimely departure, Blas Jr. immersed himself in the study of breathwork, leaving behind a profound legacy etched indelibly in his mother's heart. Today, she continues to honor his memory by exploring the therapeutic benefits of breathwork through SON BLAS HAVEN, inspired by her beloved son.
